I was assigned to CAC in February 1971 after the 54TH Aviation Company was inactivated. I was a SP5, MOS 67F20 (Airplane Technical Inspector). I went to school at Fort Eustis in late 1970 and was then assigned to Vietnam. I retired 31 January 1984, at Ft McPherson, Georgia, and now live in Mocksville, North Carolina. I spent 10 years as an aircraft mechanic/inspector. During 1973, the Army was in the process of reclassifying overage personal so I was able to reenlist in a shortage MOS as Data Processing Programmer. I attended school Ft Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, Indians in 1973 and then spent ten years in the computer field before retiring.
